The Annual President's Soiree' will convene On Friday, August 23 and Saturday, August 24 to support MCCLD. We are positioned to provide so many wonderful programs because of the support received from this event. We believe funding should not serve as a barrier for educational access or medical services. Our President’s Soiree is Mt. Calvary Center for Leadership Development annual fundraiser to support local initiatives to better serve our communities and give back to Southeastern North Carolina. Once a year our organization enjoys having an opportunity to bring community leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, politicians, donors, and Southeastern North Carolina residents to celebrate accomplishments, recognize individual efforts, and collaborate to better serve the people.
Since its conception, MCCLD has placed unwavering emphasis on leadership and scholarly training for
youth, and professional development training opportunities that enable adults to excel in employment
opportunities and earn competitive and sustainable wages. In a diligent effort to meet the training needs of youth, MCCLD has launched its signature Vocational, Industrial and College (VIC) Preparatory
Academy for low-income minorities.
As the fiscal year comes to a close and we continue to implement innovative and effective services to
meet the needs of Southeastern North Carolina, MCCLD extends an exclusive invitation to our supporters. Your support will catapult your pledged commitment to supporting a diverse and well- trained workforce. We will also expand our outreach to often historically under-utilized communities.
How can I get involved?
Become a donor! The donations you provide support the following resources: (1) Support healthy communities through our Community Health Worker Initiative; (2) Build skills and opportunities through our Programs; (3) Support a quality leadership development program for underserved youth and adults; and (4) Launch a VIC Preparatory Academy to help low-income youth to realize their full potential and become an economic engine for the region.
Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of North Carolinians. We look forward to your support and investment so we may continue our impact and make an even greater difference in our future and beyond.
